I was looking for a small job on an old beaten up shed, and most places won't do a foam insulation job for under 2K.  But SDI came out and gave me a bid that was below their minimum price on a job!  They also fit us in in our time frame, as we were trying to get it done sooner than later.  The workers did an excellent and thorough job, even exceeding what was asked.  They didn't skimp on the insulation, but even did a bit more than was asked in some places.  They also prepped the job and then shaved the excess foam when they were finished.  Really great job from beginning to end.

Been 5 years since I had SDI spray my underfloors with Icynene foam.  Of all the major changes during remodeling - walls, windows, doors, furnace, fireplace insert and attic floors - the foam was the best investment It makes the whole house feel and sound better and the new bamboo floors are warm to the feet.  Heating is rarely needed now and as a bonus - ants are hard pressed to find a way in now as the subfloor is sealed air tight.

I got 3 bids for bring up my attic insulation from R22 to R38. SDI had a much lower bid than the others and used a poly material instead of shredded paper. There are pros and cons to the type of insulation. But this was the material I wanted….With the federal energy credit and Utility credit this will cost me very little…It was really great to deal with SDI as I could communicate effectively with email. And they even provided a PDF bid for the job. I like that.
